Choosing a Highly-Trained Bariatric Surgeon Crucial as Surgical Weight Loss Procedures Rise and Less-Qualified Doctors Flood the Market

Choosing a Highly-Trained Bariatric Surgeon Crucial as Surgical Weight Loss Procedures Rise and Less-Qualified Doctors Flood the Market

In response to the growing consumer demand for weight loss surgery, the number of physicians performing these procedures has also skyrocketed, enabling unqualified doctors to infiltrate the industry. Selecting a board-certified surgeon who is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) helps ensure safe, permanent weight loss options.

(Vocus) January 8, 2009 — Due to the increasing popularity of weight loss surgery, the number of physicians performing these procedures has risen to satisfy the growing demand. This can make the search for a qualified surgeon overwhelming for the potential patient. To help with this process, the American Society of Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) has created a set of rigid standards to identify the most highly skilled leaders and surgical facilities in the field. Surgeons that meet or exceed their requirements may become members of the ASBS, and their approved practice may be deemed an “ASBS Center of Excellence.”

Because many insurance companies do not cover weight loss surgery it is more important than ever to choose a qualified surgeon and accompanying medical facility. By minimizing the chance of complications and future surgical revisions of gastric bypass (http://www.drchampion.com/procedures/rny) surgery and other treatments, patients benefit from greatly minimized health and financial risks. Evidence has shown that the best outcomes and fewest complications occur in facilities with the most experienced surgeons.

Independent Hip Hop Film to Be Shot in Digital Format and Premiered Online

Wednesday 7 January 2009 @ 9:01 pm

On January 11, 2009 a seven day independent film shoot takes place in Phoenix Arizona. This film was written by Michael Antonio aka Khanqwest of a group from Seattle called ‘Down Since Day One”. The group performed in the underground scene there heavily from 1992 till around 1997 though it was formed in 1990.

After watching the film 8 Mile, Khanqwest began writing the foundation of what would become the WGA registered script “Cultivated”. After attempting to produce the film in 2005, Khanqwest became disenchanted with the Seattle music and film scene and left. Landing in Arizona in 2007 the rebuilding came ironically in Phoenix…the city named after the bird of rebirth. With the help of 98.3 Friday Night Flava pesonality Ramses Ja, the project has taken off the idea table.

Now a historic film is being launched. Due to be premiered exclusively online without any major media support this film from beginning to end is pure underground rebel hip hop. An affiliate program will be tied to the program to help spread the word, select online advertising, blogs, independent musician soundtracks, and street fliers are the only marketing and promotion done with this project. Oh, and to top it off, most of the crew and all of the actors have deferred payment, making this the most inexpensive film produced in some time. Only a title loan and some overtime has paid for the making and promotion of this film.

Our marketing approach has been to stick with blogs, emails, select websites, DJ’s and Street fliers. We will also be using affiliate programs and allowing those who like the film to make recommendations and receive money for spreading the word.

So feel free to follow us on a new journey into the new CHANGE in entertainment. Watch as a new media company OMUSEO INC. is born in a time of hardship and stress. (O-online MUSE-music/entertainment O-offline).

A GOSPEL WU-TANG?

Wednesday 7 January 2009 @ 7:01 pm

No, BrotherHood (BH) is not your run of the mill rap group. These young men and one lady represent, not only the streets, but a Higher Power. Their swagger is just as cool as those cats on the block. In fact, most of them were just on the block. However, their lives were spared through the anointing of Jesus Christ. Now, these brothers have banded together to spread the word to the hood. Don’t get it twisted; these are not your soap box preacher type choir boys. These gentlemen’s and lady’s beats are just as hard, delivery is just as smooth and lyrics just as tough as any secular artist in the industry. As Wu-tang paved the way for secular artists to emulate brotherhood, BH is the example of true family.

The beginning of the “BrotherHood” is like any other story. However, their journey is unique due to their ability to appreciate each other flaws. In 2005, four guys with very different agendas realized that their strengths and talents together are more powerful than theirs as individuals. Thus, UnCommon, T-Dogg, Midnyte Sun, and OldHEAD, got together and drafted other s to their cause.
The current group of 16, has released various works of music as individual artist, but now has joined forces for a solid new album lea by the hit single “BrotherHood”! The song was produced by “BrotherHood”’s own T-Dogg, who is considered to be one of Holy Hip Hop’s elite producers with credits on albums of pioneers such as Grits, Pettidee, and Verbs. With the soulful sounds of UnCommon, aka The “Bo Jackson” of Gospel Music, on the hook, the verses are laced with features from 12 multitalented “BH” artists, who were all willing to shorten their verse for the sake of the next brother. Yung Heat, UnCommon, Big West, Righteous, E.T., NWJ (Nothing Without Jesus), Jacob Izrael, G.G., Oracle, T-Dogg, and 2Godio give captivating and convicting performances. Whew! What a line up.

Though not featured on the song, this group is accompanied by one of the greatest accapella artist around, “Midnyte Sun”. Residing as the “elected president” for this project is Holy Hip Hop veteran and sought after video producer Ricky B. of B4 Entertainment assisted by Ivan R “The God Mogul” of KingdomSwag.com. This band of ministers for the gospel is here to set the record straight. Literally!

“It’s not about the church you go to or the denomination you serve under. It’s about knowing Jesus Christ as our savior and joining together in one body to spread this message of truth and deliverance in Him”, says board and founding member, UnCommon.

The BrotherHood is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee and is the first organized group of its kind that produces Holy Hip Hop music. A fairly new genre in the Music City, Holy Hip Hop fuses the up-tempo beats of be bop with the undeniable truth of the Gospel. Some question the street cred of the music and artist. There is no need to wonder. These brothers lived a life of gang-banging, drug dealing and criminality. Some locked up, others losing their family and friends to gun violence. That past is the beauty of their testimony. BH only knows real talk which is entrenched in every lyric they spit. Not glorifying violence or the life, but glorifying the One that can save one out of that mentality. That is the niche of the BrotherHood. No gimmicks, no tricks. Just the unadulterated truth!

The highly anticipated album is due to Jan. 13th, 2009 with appearances from all 16 members exclusively on Kingdomswag.com. The group is also preparing for a promotional tour. For booking information and available dates contact the JaylaMak office at 615.394.6053 or email h.king84@yahoo.com. For more information about the music or individual artists visit www.myspace.com/officialBH.

It’s not a movement, but a lifestyle… what does your style say about your life?
